Refund and Cancellation Policy

Version 2026-07-13. This page explains how GamingCenter handles user cancellations, creator cancellations, no-shows, service failure, disputes, chargebacks, and EU withdrawal rights.

1. User cancellations

Unless a listing states more favorable terms, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time should receive a full refund.

Cancellations made inside that window, late arrivals, or no-shows are generally non-refundable unless GamingCenter decides otherwise for verified emergencies, platform failures, or mandatory legal reasons.

2. Creator cancellations and service failure

If a partner or creator cancels a confirmed booking before the session starts, the user should receive either a full refund, free rescheduling, or GamingCenter credit or GC Coins equivalent, depending on the user choice and the exact flow offered at checkout.

If a session cannot be delivered because of a material issue caused by the platform or the creator, GamingCenter may issue a full refund, partial refund, platform credit, or rebooking.

3. User-caused technical issues

Bookings may be non-refundable where the issue is caused primarily by the user, including unsupported hardware or software, late join, missing game access, or local connectivity problems outside GamingCenter control.

If the user does not join within 10 minutes after the scheduled start time without prior notice, the booking may be treated as a no-show and no refund is guaranteed.

4. Chargebacks and disputes

Users should contact support before opening a chargeback. GamingCenter may review booking records, messages, and evidence from both sides to decide an appropriate outcome.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may be contested and can lead to account review, temporary suspension, permanent restriction, or recovery of associated fees where permitted by law.

5. GC Coins refunds

GC Coins are refundable only if required by law or if the booked session was cancelled by the creator or by GamingCenter.

Promotional GC Coins are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

6. EU withdrawal rights

Consumers in the EU or EEA may have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right for distance contracts, subject to legal exceptions for digital services or digital content that begin during the withdrawal period.

If the user validly withdraws, reimbursements should be handled in line with applicable law, including any legally permitted deduction for services already provided before withdrawal.
